Le Buzz Cafe

This mural represents the journey of immigration and celebrates the meshing of different cultures.

The piece can be read left to right starting with a Guatemalan man in a boat bringing his coffee beans across the water. Then the Quetzal, the magnificent national bird of Guatemala, is seen carrying a coffee bag and a Laurel leaf. Lastly, the destination is the Missouri State flower, the Dogwood, representing and welcoming all walks of life into our state!

Additional hidden gems: Both the Laurel Leaf and the color of the water are direct references to the Guatemalan flag!
